Candle Safety

We are sure you will love and enjoy your new candle as much as we love making them for you.  Candles need to be treated with care to ensure they are safe for you and in your home

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ALWAYS BE CAUTIOUS WHEN BURNING A CANDLE

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Never move a burning candle, until the wax has become solid and the jar has cooled
  • Always light candles in a draught free area
  • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets
  • Always place candles on a non flammable, sturdy surface
  • Always remove dust covers, labels and wrapping before lighting candles
  • Glassware that holds your candles should always be checked for cracks and chips prior to use and post burning
  • Do not pour wax down a drain

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always trim your wicks after each burn, once the wax has become solid and the jar has cooled.  This will also prevent soot from forming on the inside of your jar
  • If soot forms on the edge of the jar, wait until the candle has completely cooled and then take a soft tissue and wipe the inside of the glass.  Do not use any form of detergents or water to clean.
